What is your favorite form of creative expression? If I were to ask you to pick one art that you could best express yourself through, which would it be? Of all the arts, which do you enjoy the most to view or listen to and which do you enjoy most to participate in. Are they the same?

Dance is my favorite form of creative expression, and i believe its also the best art that i could express myself to.
Of all arts, the one i enjoy the most to view is dramatic theatre because it's the art that i believe helps you understand what happened to someone else, what they went thru, and helps you be someone else for a while then, because when your in a play, you really have to get in the character, and painting because a painting can be interpretated and viewed a thousand ways.
The art i enjoy listening to the most are songs especially love songs, because they help you express your feelings, and tell someone how you feel about them in such an adorable way, you take your time, to actually write a song about that person and i thing thats the cutest thing.
The art i enjoy most to participate in is poetry, i always loved writing since my young age and when i usually couldn't express myself to someone or tell them how i felt about them or about something, i would write a poem about it probably let the person read it.
All arts remain arts, but they each have their way of coming out, or of being expressed, whether its poetry, dance, or theatre, they're all expressed a different way but by still show someone's or a groups emotions or feelings toward something, or maybe in some cases just a aesthetic.

If you could go back in time and fix three mistakes, what would they be? What would you do differently? Do you believe that fixing these mistakes would change your life today? Describe how. Do you think you would make these mistakes again later on in life?

- If i could go back in time, i would've taken school more seriously, by trying hard, studying and doing my homework. Because even though i'm doing great now, the bad grades i got there are still gonna stay in my record and follow me for life.
- Take care of my dad's health, like making him exercise and eat healthier because even if maybe i would've still been away from him now, he would be healthier, wouldn't have to take medicine , and i wouldn't have to worry so much about not being there to help.
- And i would appreciate what my parents do for me more, and stop wasting money. Because i realised that i use to always spend my money on useless things and was never satisfied, and now that there not there, i realize how much everything changed and how hard it is not having them around.

Think about the person you were 5 years ago. Do you believe that you are the same now as you were back then? Do the same things interest you? Do you have the same friends? Do you believe that you will be as you are 5 years from now? Do you think the same things will be important to you? What do you expect to have accomplished by then?

Five years ago i was a totally different person. I was really talkative, but never really expressed my emotions or feelings. I use to let people take advantage of me, i neglected school, and all my life revolved around track and dance. I still have the same interest and they're still both my passions, well mostly track.
My 2 best friends: Kim and Soy and most of my good friends I've been friends with since 3d grade, so yes i can say i somewhat have the same friends. Even though some of them might have moved, i might have lost contact with, a few of them difference arose between us, but my true friends, the people i know that blood wouldn't make us any closer, i know are there and will always will be. But some people just come in your life, and are there just for a while and that s life well to me. But the same way you loose friends, more people come, and not to say it doesn't matter but life goes on .
5 years from now, i know i ll be in college, still working hard to follow my dreams, and i ll probably be independent and working. I'll probably have the same interests but i don't know, i might change, but i know the main things will stay the same.
I know i ll be a success in life but by then i hope i will have made a major positive difference in someone's life.

Think about the way people look at you for a moment. List 10 qualities that you believe people perceive in you. Describe in a sentence why you think this is so. Are you happy with the way people think about you?

10 qualities people see me as are :
- loyal
- full of pride
- kind
- self confidence
- sharing
- social
- honest
- respectful
- persistent
- and loving
I believe so because, that's what the people that are the closest to me and that i've know for most of my life tell me, my friend told me one day that when i care about someone and i say i am with that person, i m with you till the end . I m happy about what most people think about me and i try my best to always keep it that way, and even if i m not, i m still happy with what i think about myself and to me that's what mostly matters.

Read and interpret the following quote by Benjamin Franklin. Describe what you think it means. Do you agree with it, why or why not. Share any experiences that may help you describe your view.
“Be slow in choosing a friend, slower in changing”
-Benjamin Franklin
(1706-1790)

When Benjamin Franklin say " Be slow choosing a friend, and slower i changing, is that you have to pick your friends wisely, you need to get to know the person, think about if he is going to be a good friend or not, and how you might need him in your life and how much you can get along.
I completely agree with it, because its true, you can think someone is your friend just because you guys talk and he or she are backstabbers. You should be able to trust your friend and i dont think anyone would want to trust a person they know nothing about, it's common sence.
For example there's this girl that i know and we use to go to the same school in Haiti. When i had just met we were talking and i taught she was my friend, but it wasnt the case. She was just trying to get my friends and be like me, she was jealous of what i had and what i was, until one day we got in a huge fight, and it became general because the fight did not stay limited between me and her it was me and my friends against her and hers.
So we had like a war going on. Until the day my parents decided to make me move here. It was ok, since i still knew everything that was going on,but that only made her hate me more, because at one point that was the only thing our generation was talking about.
One day she got kidnapped, and the day after they released her, she also moved to Miami, and went to school with one of my best friends, having common friends here we started seing each other alot, she was coming to our get to geters and then joined the same dance group as me. We went to the pool one day, and started talking again and decided to put the past behind, grow up and move on. My best friends from Haiti told me talking to her was a bad idea but i told them it was ok, and she had changed and grown up.
I was just wrong. After a while she started over with the same foolishness and imaturity that had made us fight the first time. So now we just plane dont talk anymore and i dont care what happens were still not going to talk, even if we have to live in the same house.

List ten things that you feel you could change in your life to become a better and more efficient person. Describe in a sentence why you chose each one. Think about ten things about you that you could change that would help you achieve your goals.

To be a better person, i need to:
- Start focusing more on school, because you cannot achieve without an education.
- Be nicer to the people around me, you cant live alone, your always going to need others in your life.
- Have more patience, patience is a vertue, that i really need to work on, i have no type of patience.
- I have to stop depending on my parents, and become independent of them and my brothers, ey're not always going to be there, and it's better to start early, than when your facing hard times.
- Try harder at dance, because i love dancing but i dont feel like i give it my best and that i am trying enough.
- Learn to forget, i always forgive and never forget so it's hard for me to stay out off arguments.
- Try being the bigger person in the fights i get into, because somebody has to be, and we dont have time to waist.
- Try to be less sensitive at people's actions, and work on my sense of humor, because all my friends are complaining about how they're scared of joking with me.
- Practice more for track, because track is my passion and i want to be the best at it.
- Spend more time, with my family and friends, and stop procracinating because I have live for today, tomorrow is not promised to me.So i need to just live, laugh and be.

As we approach the halfway point in the first 9 weeks, which do you feel is the most demanding of all your classes? Are you finding it difficult to find your footing in school this year? Are you working particularly hard in any one area? How do you feel about the pace of this class so far? Is it meeting your expectations? Do you find it difficult?

As we approach the halfway point to the first 9 weeks, i feel my math class is the most demanding. The teacher doesnt understand he's not are only class we have and that we cant only focus on his course.
I really dont think it's difficult to find footing in school this year because i am really motivated, and have a lot of goals. Maybe i might be pushing myself to hard, or have high expections, but i'm a perfectionnist so to me everything always has to be perfect.
I'm working really hard in all areas, but i m really focusing on my science classes, because now i m in bio medical and do to the fact that that those classes are about what i am going to be doing for the rest of my life, i really work on them, and try to learn and reminber as much as i can.
I love this class, i think its really organized and to me it makes you want to learn, come to school. It's better than what i expected and the best thing about it is that you dont have to sit at a desk all the time. No class is hard if you work and try stay your best to stay in control.

Describe in detail your biggest fear. Do you believe it is something that you can overcome? If so, can you do do by yourself or do you need help? When do you believe that you first acquired this fear? Do you believe that it is a rational or irrational fear? Do you think that it is a common fear or is it something particular to you? Do you parents know about it?

My biggest fear is heights. I cant be somewhere high, look down, even if i know i am safe and not think i am going to fall. I might still do it but inside i am dying.
I really think it's something i can overcome and by myself, because i dont know anything someone might say or do to unscare me. They already tried and i did not work.
I believe i first acquired this fear when i went to my friends house and they took me to the roof. They were joking around asking what would happen if we fell, but really thinking about it, it was nt funny at all.
I know it s rational, because you never really know how solid what your standing on is gonna fall or even if you are not gonna slip and fall down.
I believe it s a common fear, because a lot of people i know are afraid of heights. My parents do know about it but like i said before there is nothing they can do about it, it s something i have to change in me, and in my mind to overcome it, not them.

What do you believe is the most important right you have as an American? If you had to choose one right as being the most important to YOU, which would it be? Why is this the case? What would things be like if this right didn’t exist?

I believe that as an American, the most important right is the right to freedom of choice. Because with that the cant force you to do or believe anything or to be part of a religion for example, like in the time of puritans. So now we dont have to run away when were not accepted. Your religion is your belief and your choice.
The most important right to me, is the right of speech. You get to express your feelings and emotion as long as it doesnt disturb the society.
If rights did nt exist the authorities would be able to abuse of us, there would be inequality, the people would nt speek up, when to them something wasn't right, would be lost and a lot more war in the world.
Rights, are there to protect the people and fight for equality among the people in a society and in the world.

What is the definition of being an adult to you? Describe what it means to be “grown up”. Is it just a matter of age? What are some of the characteristics an adult has or should have?

To me being an adult is when you take responsibility for your actions, when you do what to have to do, and when you dont need someone to run after you for everything.
Growing up is being mature toward the situations and obstacles oflife, when you stop acting like a kid, and start taking life seriously. Growing up is just a term that in most case doesn't mean growing up as in age but growing up in your personalitie, in your person. A person can be 30 and still acts like a child. Some people grow up and mature faster than others, just like they say girls grow up faster than boys, because most boys just kid around and dont care about anything, most girls at a young age start being aware of all the seriousness of life.
Being an adult doesnt mean being old it just means that your, respectful, mature and serious. That your capable of taking responsibility for your actions.
